I need some ammo...

A girl I went out with (briefly) in high school, who happens to be an Aubie, for some reason or another decided to contact me recently. We knew each other as kids growing up in Alabama, then we both moved to the same town in North Carolina where she was the "bat girl" for my baseball team. As luck would have it, her family then moved to the same town in South Carolina that my family moved to. (Her father worked for the same company as mine).

She was perfect in every way, except for her love for the WarTigerEagles, or whatever they are. We actually went out, if you want to call it that (we were only 15), for about a year.

Then came one of the greatest Alabama wins over that other school ever, climaxing with "The Kick." Needless to say, I could not contain myself after that game, and her yard got a few decorations that her parents found unattractive. (Remember, I was 15:wink:)

That marked the end of my "relationship" with her. I went on to school at Alabama, and she went on to the cow college down the road, only she never left. She teaches down there.:rolleye2:

She's going to wish she had never searched me out. I'm going to have alot of fun with her.

I think I'll start with Chizik. What's his record again? Is it really 5-19? I remember seeing something posted here mentioning his top 10 all time wins and the bottom 5 were left blank. That was too funny. I know you guys have the ammo, so a little help is needed here. Thanks in advance.:)

I would caution too much football discussion right now as there are two glaring facts to consider. 1. Alabama had a six game losing streak AU that was just recently broken so that can always be brought up. 2. AU's new head coach did not succeed at ISU, but has still yet to coach a game at AU so there is not much to rag him about for his tenure at AU. I would wait until later in the season when Chiznik is getting hammered to condsider bashing.

But to your point, you could ask her when was the last time Auburn beat a Div 1-A school, I think it was some time around September.

Why do this? You're not 15 anymore, so rise above it. As members of the Tide Nation, we always take the high road and leave the low road to the cow college. JMO.:)

I agree with Derek; why not show her waht she missed after all these years.
Don't let her think the you have never grown up; be a man and show her that you have moved on from petty disagreements about sports teams.

 Ok I an trying to hold it in......... nope.. failed.

There is just to much fun in poking an Aubie.

Before I give you any advice, I think we all need to know............. Is she hot? and are either of you married?

You just need to read the board. You'll find all the ammunition you need to keep her in her place. Although, being married to a barner, I have found that I feel best when I just smile, don't brag too much, and never ever ask him one thing about his favorite football team (they don't deserve my attention in any way). Even if he starts in on me about something Bama-related, I just give him a look. The high road is a blessed place to be.

I agree that it is best to consider whether she otherwise has potential.

If not, you might ask her some questions, such as how long does she think it will be before their new head coach posts his first ever road victory. Or ask her who got more hush money, Tubbs or Tater Tot. Or ask her which of the malls in Aubrun is her favorite for shopping trips.

Of course, if the point is that you never want her to contact you again, you might ask about when SACS is stopping by for a return visit, whether she one day hopes to move out of the single wide into a roomy double wide, or what the proportion of non-athlete minority students is on campus.

But nah, you're a nice guy and learned from your youthful mistake of decorating yards in a fashion not authorized by the actual homeowner....

Start by showing her this video:

Staci, as a shrink (and I mean that as term of endearment), can't you help your hubby with that barner problem? ;)
