I'll Post it Congrats to the Auburn Tigers

Congrats to the Auburn Tigers their team and fans one of the best Iron Bowls I've seen in years just wish we could've come out on top.

Roll Tide!

I agree. We had them wobbling on the ropes, and had more than our fair share of chances to deliver the knock-out blow...but didn't. The players will learn what CNS means by "finishing". We have a solid base on which to build. Not so long ago, we were a .500 team that lost too ULM. We've won 35 out of our last 40,, an SEC Championship, and a National Championship. I know this IB loss hurts, but the future looks bright in Tuscaloosa.

I would like to congratualte them on a perfect season...of 0-0-0.

0-wins
0-losses
0-ties

It's almost guaranteed that they'll have to vacate the season in a few weeks.

But, when you're desperate to keep up with CNS, you'll do anything.

They are frauds.

Well, be that as it may, what goes down on the Plains, I have no control over.

Cam Newton did not cause us to fumble a couple of times, or drop a sure TD. Perhaps if he weren't playing the outcome would've been different, but we should have won anyway. Our team can see the culprit when they look in the mirror. I'm not defending Newton or anything the Aubbies do, I'm just saying...while some Bama fans may use the shenanigans on the Plains as an excuse for the loss...it's not the reason.

I don't care if the barn gave Cam all the tea in China, we had them up 24-0 in BDS and for them to come back from that deficit and in that environment was pretty remarkable.

I'm going to give my congrats too. This one hurts bad... Actually, it wouldn't hurt that bad if I haven't run out of gin, but I did... As such, I'll go ahead and give my admiration for what they have accomplished. Congrats, and I can't wait till next year. RTR!

They played a hell of a game, that will be stricken from the record books in a matter of months.

I was just listening to ESPN radio on the way to work, and the broadcaster was saying that, due to the $cam saga, it felt like watching a game that was fixed. This guy is a west coast, neutral observer.

I'll give them credit for their play on the field. API played great. It just doesn't feel "right."

i've said it to all my friends. You run the ball and stop the run, you win championships.

Auburn did it.

bama didnt.

if we even had a mere shell of our running game last year we would have held on to win.

They were the better TEAM and better mental toughness. We may have better athletes, but we are not playing well as a TEAM. It took great intestinal fortitude to come back lack they did. They had guts and hung in there. We had the runs (i.e. diaherria) and fell apart!

I might as well say it. Great game Auburn. I will need the practice cause all those barners from the offices (who have been in hiding the past two years) will be out in force today. They will find reasons to walk among the workers today, dressed in their orange and I will go out on a limb and guess they find reasons to stop and talk a bit too. There are so many things on the floor that will need their attention today.

Yeah, but we shot our selves in the foot, we left 18 points on the field.

BTW, if, and when they have to vacate the wins, do we the IB victory?

RTR:BigA:

If I understand the rules correctly, we get the win on the record books. Of course, like the one's we had to vacate recently, we will always know what happened on the field - and I'm sure the boogs will be quick to point that out.

I don't agree with any of you...they were the better team for one half, we were better for the other, and when it was all done they ended up with ONE more point. I don't give those cheatin' slimeballs credit for anything. Bama gave the game away with two turnovers and a dropped td pass.
Now will y'all please get over your obsession with feeling like you have to pay homage to cheats? (Remember, it's ALL IN) I don't care what happened on the field, if you have to cheat to win, that's not winning.
Once they do their time, pay the price for their arrogance and ADMIT they cheated, I will treat them with the respect anyone deserves, but until that time...not a chance. :mad2:

I don't think there is anything wrong with giving credit where credit is due, even if it is Auburn to whom you are giving credit. Great teams don't "give the game away" by making costly turnovers and dropping TD passes. In our current state we are a good team, but not a great team that is capable of winning a National Championship. I don't enjoy having to "eat my words" so until Auburn is proved to have "cheated" I will not accuse them of that because I don't appreciate it when our team is accused of cheating. I don't like it when Auburn fans don't have any "class". I am sure they don't like it when Alabama fans don't show any "class". I think it is "classy" to simply point out that it was a tremendous comeback for their team and a tremendous collapse by our team. I love our team and I think this terrible loss will help make us a better team in the future and will help prepare us to win a National Championship in the future.:BigA:

Congrats to Auburn. They won, they deserved it, and we need to get over it! Acting like sore losers is not something I'd expect us to do. Yelling "Cheater! Cheater! Booger Eater!" might make some of us feel better, but I think we need to acknowledge that we simply got beat by a better team.

Can't wait 'till next year. The future looks awfully good.
