I probably missed these. Hoping to get update info for . . . .

Que Russaw- What is the injury? Is whatever it is season-ending

Lotzier Brooks - Likely to play against: LSU?

Kevin Riley - What is the injury? Is whatever it is season-ending

Jah-Marien Lathan - What happened? I do not remember.

Thank you in advance.

Alabama wide receiver Isaiah Horton was sidelined for the second half of the Crimson Tide's game against South Carolina on Saturday, October 25, 2025, after being escorted to the locker room just before halftime with an injury. He was seen sitting on a Gatorade cooler with his left leg elevated and did not return to the field. As of the game's conclusion, Horton was reported to be done for the afternoon.

  • Horton was initially seen on the sideline during the first half, riding a stationary bike and receiving treatment, indicating a hip adductor issue that had been affecting him since the season opener against Florida State.
  • His absence, combined with the loss of wide receiver Lotzeir Brooks, who was ruled out for the game, left Alabama with a significantly depleted receiving corps.
  • The injury report for the South Carolina game listed Horton as inactive, and he did not play in the second half.
  • While his specific injury status remains undisclosed, his prolonged absence from the field and medical attention suggest a significant concern.

Any info on when Russaw will return...? 🤔
He went out with the broken foot in the Georgia game four weeks ago. He had surgery the following day. Generally the time line on fracture healing is about 6 weeks, even with surgery. And much of that is dependent on the type of fracture. Without knowing this, it is difficult to say.

I know initial reports after the Georgia game said he might be back for the Auburn game and possibly the SECCG if we made it that far. And certainly back for the playoffs in that scenario.

Update on Qua Russaw;

“He’s doing really good. On a timeline that we had hoped, maybe even a little bit ahead. But don’t know exactly what that’s going to be, we’re not quite there yet. He’s making great progress and you can see it, even in his face, he’s feeling good about the direction it’s going and can’t wait to get back out there.”

So it seems that CKD indicates Qua will be back this season. It will be six weeks since his surgery on November 8th (LSU). CKD said he is ahead of schedule. The initial post surgery timeline had him “maybe” back by Auburn or SECCG, but certainly back by the playoffs if we make it.

I don’t think we’ll see him next week against LSU but possibly by Oklahoma or Eastern Illinois. Without knowing what type fracture it’s hard to predict. I just know we really need him for this final stretch.

At this point, Horton and Brooks are just as important , if not more so than Qua. Rico played great this year in rotation, but as the man he wasn’t the same vs USCe. Good to see Meadows playing, he needs playing time to get over that horrible hit IMO.

Any idea what happened to Horton? He left the game with some kind of issue.
Coach DeBoer said,

“I expect those guys to be ready to go for LSU,” DeBoer said. “Lotty (Lotzeir Brooks) was especially rolling out there today and making good progress. Isaiah just got dinged up there in the first half of the game and making good progress.”
