I disagree. You cannot negotiate with kidnappers, even if they are a nation/state. They are going down the wrong path, even if they get the sailors back alive...

I also find it ironic that it takes this for people to want to do something about Iran. Forget the fact they are giving insurgents the deadliest weapons in Iraq, Explosively Formed Penetrators, they're kidnapping people! Give me a break, the blood of hundreds of Americans is stained on Iran's hands. As far as the Geneva convention goes, Our AG, Gonzales dismissed those rules as being out of date and quaint. Most of you have absolutely no concept of what any captured soldiers wearing the uniform of the US Military will go through because of Bush's activities in the area of torture. I guess our Constitution is also quaint and out of date considering what the Bushies have been chopping it up over these last 6 years.

Which Brits? Are you talking about the British government that has released GPS data showing their troops in Iraqi waters? Or are you talking about the Brits that the Iranians have captured who are obviously being coerced into saying things that support Iran?
