It's Opening Day!!

Braves pitching made the Marlins look like a good team. Pitching was a huge need during the off-season and an area AA didn't do much IMO. Now, it is already showing big cracks only a few weeks into the season.

without our ace pitcher, we might just be screwed.

Yep, losing Strider is a huge blow. We need a lot of things to happen.

Fried needs to get right and be our ace.
Morton needs to stay healthy and eat up innings.
Sale needs to continue his promising start.
Probably need Elder to step up like last year.
Need a Ynoa or AJSS or Anderson to contribute too.

Whew, maybe we just need to win with offense.

Generally I agree but, last year the pitching was good during the post season but, the bats went dead cold.

I will say the pitch clock has been a life saver for me and getting back to watching full baseball games again. The pitch clock sets a tone for the flow of the game to ensure the pace of play is relatively consistent. I now have watched more full MLB games this season than I had in several years. Two thumbs up from me for this rule change.
