Boy he had some things to say about that armpit of a university.

Some gems.....

"At Auburn, there isn't that many great people," Jacobs said.

"You are everything to these people if you are an athlete. Normal black people don't get treated like we do. If you aren't an athlete, they don't want anything to do with you, and that isn't right."

"We would just joke around, making fun of each other. They don't do that at Auburn"

"I had a lot of one-on-one conversations at Auburn that were untruthful."

He should have talked to someone before signing there. He would have known all this the easy way not learn it up close and personal.

"I remember going out and having water balloon fights. We would just joke around, making fun of each other. They don't do that at Auburn."

They don't because Aubs have never figured out how to get that there water in that there balloon.

On a serious note, Auburn cannot have balloon fights. They were outlawed by the administration in 1989 when three football players drowned trying to fill them up. The players' method was somewhat questionable. It seems that they had one guy hold the balloon upside down over his head, they then tied a big rock to his feet and threw him in a lake. Local authorities praised the surviving players for noticing after only three attempts that something was amiss, narrowly averting the loss of the entire football team.

Good luck Brandon.

It's easier for Brandon Jacobs to say "they treated me unfairly" than for him to say "they wanted me to learn how to block".

It's also easier for him to say the coaches didn't give him a chance than it was for him to say "the SEC didn't lay down at the sheer sight of me. Those boys hit me in my big mouth."

He wasn't smart enough to realize that Carnell Williams and Rhonnie Brown were going to get the carries when he got there...because they are better than him. They know how to pick up blitzes in pass protection which his position coach said repeatedly he needed to work on.

Yes, on every campus, high profile football players will be treated differently than normal students...because they are in the national spotlight. This isn't racism no more than it's rocket science.

When you're a superstar in your own mind, doing the little things necessary to be a complete runningback get in the way when you're thinking about what you will look like on the cover of a newspaper.

Nothing in this article surprises me. It's just another big headed player pouting...

This tells me all i need to know about the kid:

"But we had fun playing football, working out and lifting weights. We had fun doing those kinds of things. I remember going out and having water balloon fights. We would just joke around, making fun of each other. They don't do that at Auburn."

Uh, yeah...this is football stuff is serious bizness down here in the good ol' south. We play FOOTBALL...we don't just PLAY.
