So, Purdue is .500 over their last 6 games with 2 of those losses against teams outside the top 25?

I don't get it
Strength of schedule and currently being #1 in the Big 10 is the factor. But them being a #1 seed is in more danger than us honestly. They lose the next two and they will switch places with UCLA for sure.

I honestly believe we can lose the next two and still remain a 1 seed ... we just won't be #1 overall.

How often is Lunardi accurate with his projections prior to conference CG's?
Usually the top part is somewhat accurate as they are pretty consistent in trying to keep top seeds close to home. And they have to keep conference foes apart until regional finals unless there are more than 8. So there is some logic involved. But first two round games are a total crap shoot.

My gut tells me we won’t get a favorable bracket.
Why?

As long as we don't lose more than 1 more regular season game and then get to the SECT Finals then we probably are a lock for a Top 2 seed which would keep us in the Louisville South Bracket.

If we are the #1 Overall Seed we will get a Great Bracket with the weakest 2-4 Seeds.

Imo the only way we get a bad or least favorable bracket is to have a come apart here at the end by losing some combo of 3 games or lose 1 to AU/A&M and get bounced early from the SECT and fall behind both Houston and Kansas.

With Purdue collapsing though I don't think they or UCLA will pass us so at worst we will be the #3 Overall seed.

Even then we're still a 1 Seed... ya know?

I'll go even further to say we can lose one of the remaining two regular season games and lose in the conference tourney and still be a one seed ... the body of work at this point has them in a solid position for a 1 seed. NOW if they lose the next two regular season games and lose their first game in the conference tourney, then there's a good chance we are 2 seed bound. A lot of this factors on what Purdue does over the next 3 games as well.

I think what happened with Brandon Miller will be a negative for us. Lots of the country is very down on Bama now because of the mishandling of the situation and belief that he should have sat. Selection committee is made of human beings who read/hear stuff. It won't help us.

How exactly do you think they’re going to hurt us? Do you think they’re going to stack our bracket? That’s not very fair to the teams that they are putting against us. I don’t think they’re going to do anything.

They are trying to earn money for the NCAA. We have an exciting team, which they would like to hang around. It won't hurt us...
