John Parker "Hot and Cold" Wilson

Maybe Coach Saban should tell him if D.J.'s covered to take off running. Couldn't hurt. At least he would be headed in the right direction instead of backwards.:rolleye2:
Maybe I am asking too much of college quarterback but wouldn't it be nice to see the young man picking out a secondary receiver every once in a while?

I'm sure Nick has enough frustration to equal all of ours combined. I think the pickle we're in now goes back to the suspensions (see Jess' article above). We lost our only dependable big back and we lost two starters on the OL. Worse, BJ couldn't go and Andre is far less than 100%. Wilson is just getting no time. Some QBs can handle being rushed better than JPW can. That's just a fact. He has to have time and he's had none. When JPW is rushed, it's obvious that his mind goes blank. He couldn't see six open receivers running all over downfield waving their arms. That's harsh, but that's what we've got. We have two more games and I think Nick stays with JPW, no matter his shortcomings. However, over the spring, I think there'll be some really hard looks taken at the QB position. I don't think Wilson is a lock to start next year...

Yep, I agree.

No they didn't. JPW just doesn't see open wr's other than DJ. How many games has the replay shown a wide open receiver running over the middle of the field but since it's not DJ they don't get the ball thrown to them.

To answer your question, too many unfortunately.

The latest flavor, Jackson, will lineup well behind Mcelroy and Fanuzzi, if in fact he plays QB at UA. Jackson is going to get quite a surprise after all the FL sunshine and AL smoke that has been blown up...and finds himself behind two guys that played and excelled in a "Big Boys" league and were rediculously ranked.

You must not know very much about Star Jackson then. The kid can play plain and simple, and he will play QB at Alabama.

I hope your right about Jackson. I do think we'll see a few new and very young faces playing next year on both sides of the ball.

Well I don't want it to sound like I'm saying he can come in next year and start or anything but the kid has talent (lots of it) and he will certainly be playing QB at Alabama IMHO. I would venture to guess at this point that he'll get every opportunity to earn immediate playing time the moment he steps foot on campus, whether or not he sees the field his first year is solely up to him.
