I think the only thing to read into w/ Carradine is simply that we don't have more space for early enrollees... nothing more, nothing less. I'm willing to be that the staff would have gladly taken him had he enrolled in the spring. I also don't think it means we're sure we're going to get someone else (although that would be great). Having Jessie Williams, Quinton Dial, and possibly Xavier Dickson (JACK LB who has never said anything but Alabama leads) is one of the best DL recruiting classes in the country.

Most recent updates I think do not even have us in his final contenders. Let's see. I'm supposed to have a source. Atlanta Journal Constitution, Chip Towers. GA, FSU and Ohio State are his finalists according to him.

At least he won't be in conference. Also, he hasn't signed a LOI just yet. He can't do that. He commited.
I do believe today is the first day of the JUCCO and EE signing period. I may be wrong here but players that sign before Jan 1st count back to the 2010 class. Players that sign between Jan 1st - 15th count towards 2011

I didn't know this even existed. I thought EE just enrolled in January and then signed or something.

Players that are EEs can count towards either class. They can only be backcounted to the prior year if and only if there is room. JUCOs who graduate in December sign their letter of intent in December for spring enrollment. Any HS player that is an EE still technically signs his letter of intent in Feb with everyone else.

Does anyone have a list of who will be enrolling early? I posted this here because the more I think about it, the more I wonder how we were able to pass on Carradine.

We all know the pass rush needs help and Cornelius has taken the #1 spot on rivals JUCO list from Jesse Williams. He sounded like exactly the quick fix we are looking for. He wanted to be an early enrollee and we couldn't offer that, so I was wondering who will be getting those precious few slots this month?
