No one will ever replicate the coaching career of CNS however this hire has me excited to see what will transpire. He needs our support for his system just like we gave to CNS. He will succeed, our players who buy in will succeed and our foes will continue to fear us. GB honestly I thought you would bungle this one, but you have come through with shining colors.

But what speaks volumes about you and Miss Terry is the grace in which you made the unselfish choice to step aside and still remain part of the program you have built. My take, it was reported that 3 agents representing coaches were in Tuscaloosa. Greg Byrne probably asked all three which of their clients might be interested in the job, Sexton probably knew Lanning and Sark weren’t interested, but put them on a list for Byrne so he could leak their names along with Norvell . I don’t think they were ever seriously considered, probably not even approached beyond Sexton, but it sure gave Sexton leverage for negotiating against those other schools.

Smart thing to do. Make everyone else pay their coach more so they have less NIL money. Thinking on that level and detail is what makes Bama what it is.

Well, I used to do it when my kids were flying home or something. Not the whole way, but when it was getting close to landing time I would pull it up just to make sure they were on time.

Also Claiming Kalen and his wife were getting a divorce before this hire, but now she reconciled until she can get half of the Bama money, etc. Taking a shot at a coach is one thing, but dragging the family into the crude comments is waaaaay out of bounds, probably out of the stadium.
