He can develop the LBs the way Wommack wants. We're going to see the defense elevated to another level next season. They're not done hiring people yet. I think we'll see 1-2 more hires depending on how their season goes.

Our LB play today was awful...multiple times Lawson was nowhere to be found or just redirected himself out of the play. They ran the ball right through the DL and there was no LB in the gap. I hope this new guy coming in is good....being the LB coach at South Alabama isn't a top of resume role imo

all of the hires outside of Nix are all questionable now. DeBoer is under scrutiny like never before after this horrendous loss and the overall work of the 2025 season.

I've coached elite athletes and you have to be able to relate or they quickly dismiss you. Im sure our LBs will look up the same info I did..he better be really good off the bat...

Yep and I was a very good WR coach when I was coaching all state receivers.
