I don't like seeing a two star rating on a 'Bama player, who would? But as has been pointed out, you can dig up talent and bring in someone who isn't on the radar. It is also about meeting the team needs and bringing in kids who really want to be at Alabama. We all know how good Saban is. If he likes a 3 star better than a 4 star or a 2 star better than a 3 star I would go with his knowledge over Rivals and Scout.

It's also nice to know that this guy is on campus. Mike Ford (who was in 2 of our recruiting classes), Chris Keys, and many others were highly ranked in the star category but there's a 90+% chance that this guy will contribute more to the program than those guys. A bird in the hand...

I'd love to see recruiting class rankings revisited and re-ranked after a year or so based on the players that actually made it to campus and managed to stay on the team. I think it'd better demonstrate the contribution of the 2 and 3 star guys.

after watching kareem jackson's highlight tape he is a stud at returning punts/kickoffs and int returns. he seems to find that endzone no matter what.
