Is Leon really going to start at Right Guard? (mods please adjust the thread title)

How much of this is posturing?

The gap between Leon and Kellen might be small enough that it is a move as much about 2014 and this game.

I think Leon Brown is slated to play at right guard. Not right tackle. At least that's what I read earlier.

I don't think it's posturing. He has had a long look and apparently he's done well. I hope he succeeds. I remember him as a guy that all season was up front on the sideline, cheering and congratulating other players.

I am a little unclear. Is the right side looking like Leon Brown at guard and Kellen Williams at tackle for the Sugar Bowl? I guess 2014 is a different deal because I think Williams is a senior and playing his last game right?

I'm guessing it is going to be Brown at RG in place of Steen and Shepard at RT. This is likely to be the starting right side next year, so maybe CNS is getting a jump start at getting Brown some reps. Brown has the potential to be an outstanding player, and it was surprising to me that he didn't start this year. Hopefully he's finally starting to out it all together.

If Brown and Williams are pretty close you have to go with the guy who will be there next year because the starting experience will help him so much. Brown came in with great credentials but he did have to make a jump to this level. I'm not surpised to see him rising at this time. Hopefully he will play lights out and we will have our right guard for 2014
