Uhhhh......no. If you can "hate" the barn, given a similar basis for those sentiments, you can hate the who's. After spending years around many of thier loud-mouthed, drunk, sore-loser fans, I have every right to hate them...and I do.
I hope we beat them like red-headed cajun step-children...
 
I don't like the hate aspect of this thread. It's a word that needs a lot more consideration than people give it these days.
 
I don't hate them, but I'm highly annoyed at their attitude that their current lofty status is old hat for them, It's like they consider us as interlopers infringing on their territory.

They need a refresher course in SEC history.

I reserve all my ire for Auburn.
I can't hate a comic, grass eating Coach, and I have to reserve some amount of respect for the LSU team for their hard work.
 
Why hate? Why not just hand the ball to the ref and jog to the sidelines? Let them talk, showboat, boast or whatever they do. Let's adopt the same attitude the team has: the team across from me is irrelevant, this is about being the best fan I can be and not disrespecting what this team has accomplishedby lowering my standards. Have some class, we are Alabama, you should be used to getting hate from other fanbases and every opponent's best game by now.

OTOH I really hate how they spell GO, that's just nonsense, heh.
 
I don't hate LSU; they're my second favorite team. I generally like their fanbase's passion and football knowledge. I have never had a bad time in their stadium, and there is no cooler mascot than Mike the Tiger. Having his habitat right next to the stadium and bringing him in for a trip around the field prior to kickoff is just awesome to me. Les Miles has proven to be entertaining and more than capable at doing his job.

I didn't appreciate their attitude towards Coach Saban when he came to Alabama, but I understand the whole "woman scorned" type experience, so I'll forgive them that. Besides, they'll get over it eventually. :)
 
Yup I hate them!!! Watching their idiot fans in 07 throw refreshments on fans at the quad and just cursing at anybody who walked by...women kids were listening to all that garbage yes hate. Nothing wrong cheering for your team but come on. Then the throwing of the cups after the game in BDS. Yes their fans are cool, awesome, a hoot and just fun to be around...:rolleyes:
 
I don't hate them at all. They have a good football program and I believe LSU/BAMA is a good, healthy rivalry. UThug/BAMA rivalry has taken a back seat due to UThugs having down years. Aburn/BAMA is unhealthy and needs a break IMO. Theres fans for every team out there that are pain in the rears but at least they aren't O$U fans! I personally respect LSU and am looking forward to seeing a war on Nov. 5. There aren't any other teams in the SEC I'd rather see in the NCG than BAMA or LSU, but I definitely prefer BAMA LOL.
 
Let's see...

They're a great team.
They have a great coach. He'a a little quirky, but wins.
Their mascot is awesome.
I had a great time in my one visit to Tiger Stadium.

Sorry, but I got nuthin' on why I should hate LSU.
 
Their coach makes me laugh, and they've got LSUFreek going for them.

Their fans are generally more knowledgeable than the fans of most of our opponents.

If they actually played in New Orleans, they'd be my second favorite team ;p

All in all, I don't hate the LSU Tigers at all. I look at it this way:

If we don't win it all, am I ok with ______ winning it all?
If the answer is "yes", then the team passes the "I'm cool with them" pass.

Pretty much Auburn and Tennessee fail that test, though these days I have more pity than hate for Tennessee. They're just a pathetic shell of what they used to be in Neyland's day.

There it is.... I was waiting for that... I was suprised it wasnt posted sooner. Soon the "Raping of cattle, bags of urine" posts will begin.....
 
I do not hate LSU either. They are my 2nd favorite SEC team as well. I grew up in South Louisiana and love the passion of their fans. I'm thrilled at the prospect of having some highly-rated competition!
 
No hate at all for LSU.

- Mike the Tiger's roar inside Death Valley has sent chills down my spine.
- Night games in Death Valley should be a required experience for any SEC fan.
- Great food.
- Never had a bad LSU fan encounter (at least no more so than any other SEC fan base... including Bama)
- Les and LSU have gotten over the complex Saban's return gave them (for the most part). The Hat is pretty entertaining. Great for college football. I hope he stays around for a long time.
- If Bama doesn't win it all, I hope LSU does. (Although given the youth of their team... this could be VERY bad.)
