Look at these two photos from the 1934 team??Odd

Re: Look at these two photo from the 1934 team??Odd

Hmmm. This is very interesting. Provocative even. We need to look into this #45. Find out who he is, where he is from what his role truly was on campus. He should be marked as a "person of interest". Someone needs to get over the Bryant Museum and see if there are any periodicals on that season and players. Then get over to Rose Admin and petition for his records. He may be the missing link to Alabama Football.

Who on here wants to volunteer for this mission?

Check the previous page. Someone already identified him. He is Joe Demyanovich/HB

My unnamed sources tell me that #45 was eliminated by the second gunman. This picture should have never been released. I can't believe we have been compromised. :p

1.21 gigawatts....... How could I have been so careless...

and for the nerds in the audience. Dr. Brown pronounces gigawatts correctly in the movie (ie. jigawatt).

So next time you are bragging about how big your hard drive is impress your friends by pronoucing giga with a soft g as it should be. Then ridicule them for being so ignorant!!!

ps. I really enjoy threads that incorporate Back to the Future. I was just the right age to really enjoy the movie when it was released in the mid 80's. I absolutely hate the ride at Universal though and look forward to the day it is removed.

Re: Look at these two photo from the 1934 team??Odd

Here is the problem---
The one with the extra #45 is the one that is used by the University. That is what make it odd.

Re: Look at these two photo from the 1934 team??Odd

The question is, which one is the real Joe Demyanovich? Examining the faces reveals they are two different people. One is clearly the real Joe, and the other possibly a Vol agent provocateur:eek:

Re: Look at these two photo from the 1934 team??Odd

maybe the university chopped demyanovich into the photo because he was a letterman/2nd team all american but wasn't in the original photo, so they felt like they should put him in. wonder what the 1933 photo looks like, they probably took it in the same location...

Re: Look at these two photo from the 1934 team??Odd

I'm pretty sure the #45 at the top right has been added to the second picture. He wasn't cut out to make the first one.

Take a look at the lighting and shadows. Based on the shadows, or lack thereof, in the second picture, this was taken either with the sun square in their faces (unlikely due to lack of squinting on the faces), or more likely on an overcast day.

But look at the line between 45's right shoulder pad and the left one of his neighbor. There's a distinct line there despite the fact that 45 is significantly taller. No such line appears anywhere else in the picture where jerseys overlap. They tend to blend in with one another and look like one white blob.

Not so in the second picture. The only way that shadow happens is if the light is coming from below and from the left. And unless there was artificial lighting, that ain't happenin. I'd bet a dinner at 12 that 45 II was added to the second picture.

Good eye, 4Q. The PFI Squad noticed the minutiae early on. Joe was added on there on the end, as alluded to by Miss A. We're ready to close this case.

Isn't the ride gone now? I thought I read several months ago that they were going to remove it last fall. The ride was okay, but I have a lot of good memories from that place(Universal).

I think everyone on here is trying to come up with some conspiracy theory angle. If that is the case then you need to contact Fox Mulder and get this resolved ASAP. On another note in reference to this picture while we may not know who or which #45 is real, there is no question that #12, back row, fourth from the left is none other than Brodie Croyle, I would recognize him anywhere.:eek2:

Re: Look at these two photo from the 1934 team??Odd

The disappearing #45 must be one of Marty McFly's relatives.

Back to the Future anyone?

I heard the same thing but we have annual passes and were there about a couple of weeks ago and it was still operating. I don't know when or if they are still planning to replace it.

We love Universal and try to go one weekend every other month. This time of year you can get great deals at the on property resorts especially if your an annual pass hold or Florida resident. The room key is a fast pass which, given the low attendence this time of year, means virtually no wait for any ride. The convenience of staying on property is great because we usually have a margaritta at Margarittaville but we don't have to worry about driving afterward.
