Wow! I never thought I would see all this complaining over a 9-0 team. Yes the offense is out of sync and has looked terrible vs Ole Miss and Miss St on the road. I take a quick scroll through the threads and you would think it was last years team we were discussing minus Croyle, minus Hudson, and Castille heading into the LSU game. Yikes!
Seriously folks I am so happy for this team. And I know the players and coaches will work hard to have a great gameplan for LSU. I understand people will criticize and complain, but we still have at least 3 games to play and possible 4. I was worried going into last years LSU game, but not this year.
Last year in BR Darby ran for 109 and a TD before his injury. Cadell lead with 66 yards rec. And old Pennington was 7-15-114, and supposedly a pick. LSU managed 192 yards rushing, and 91 passing.
I dont see this being a high scoring game on either side. This will be one of those games the media will complain about. A 13-10 or 17-10 kind of ball game. Both of these defenses are stout and will show some muscle.
Bama will have an offense, and I know many find it hard to believe. Now Bama may be an underdog going into this game, the media may not be giving any love, but dont worry if the Tide does its job the love will come.
Now before I get called a "sunshine pumper" I am not. I have been dissapointed in the offense starting with Ole Miss. I dont blame as much of it on Prothro's absence as I do the bye week. Bama had some serious momentum after the UF game. Two weeks on the couch didnt help.
The media and some fans wrote off Bama after the So Miss game heading into So Carolina. Same thing after a bad Arki game with the mighty Gators coming to town. And after a pittyful performance at Ole Miss many didnt give Bama a chance against UT. We still have to play the game. I'm sure LSU's players didnt see the Bama/MSU game and go oh next week is going to be easy!
