Does anyone know if the players that were suspended for the Auburn game will be back for the game against us? I hope they are, so when we beat them they don't have any excuses...
We won't be. Our 2nd OLT, who gets a lot of PT is out for the year with ACL surgery, and a LB, Watkins, who also plays lots is also out with a broken arm. In addition our 2nd RB, who also plays a lot and has the best YPC average is very limited with a turf toe...Yes all players will be back and LSU has no major injuries.
So it will be the full LSU team

The status of three suspended LSU football players for the Tigers' showdown Nov. 5 at Alabama will be determined by athletics director Joe Alleva, in consultation with chancellor Michael Martin, after the players "get their act together," Martin said Monday.
Would he qualify for a medical redshirt now?
I would guess that it is too late for that, although it doesn't hurt to apply to the NCAA and see.

For what it is worth LSU's Chancellor stated today that the decision on reinstating the three suspended players for the Alabama game would not be made until they got their acts together.
As quoted on ESPN, LSU rules state, that athletes who fail drug tests "will be suspended for 15% of the remaining games". That would be two games, but don't expect LSU to enforce that rule...at least not for this game.

Exactly - it doesn't specify which 15%? *U and sisters of the poor ... I prefer we play them at full speed anyway.
The rule actually says "up to 15%".For what it is worth LSU's Chancellor stated today that the decision on reinstating the three suspended players for the Alabama game would not be made until they got their acts together.

Yeah when Gary and Verne said that during the game Saturday, I almost died laughing. We all know what that means. And they say it is also "subjective" in terms of how it applies to individual players. Here, I'll translate: "if you are not a starter and are insignificant to the team's success you would be suspended for the next two games on the schedule, but if you are a starting RB and a starting CB with a cool nickname we'll pick the games you will miss." See how easy that was?
