I'm not so much concerned about the impact on offensive performance since we have a great stable in the backfield.

I hate it for Mark just for the sake of the injury and for the adverse affect it will have on a potential for another Heisman run if he's out too long.

If he misses a few games maybe he wont feel the pressure to repeat as a Heisman winner.

Lacy will get plenty of carries, great for our future, and Goode may have 100 yards in the second half.

I say hold him out til Arkansas. We should be ok with TR and EL for SJS, PS and Duke! Keep him out til the SEC play starts and he's 100%.

I have a feeling he will be playing some in the Penn State game. I think it's best if he does rest it though.

I agree 100% with ya..There's no major drop off with Trent & Lacy..Ingram needs to think about his Pro Career..And not chance that opportunity by coming back too soon..

Sorry guys but i think Saban in talking about his "returning in a rwalative short time and it not affecting his future" is talking about making it in the nfl. I think he is gone for the season. I really do. If this was just a tweek they would not make an anouncement and just keep it hush hush until game day. Saban doesnt put all the cards on the table unless he has no other choice. I say pull trent from the kicking team if he is gonna be the main back.:conf2:

They said they will evaluate him on a week-by-week basis. I don't believe he is out for the season or they more than likely would have said so.
