McFadden vs. Grant

McFadden - 200yds on 34 carries.

Grant - 94 yards on 20 carries.

The people that think Grant will get more yards must be insane.

The Arkansas offensive will REVOLVE around McFadden. It makes sense that he'd get more yards, not because he's better, but because they're more run heavy. We'll be more balanced because we can be. You should couple that with the fact that this is a defense that has to defend McFadden day in and day out. That doesn't make them perfect, but it makes them savvy with the run.

I can see McFadden getting more on the ground, but due only to an unbalanced offensive attack.

Was I right, or was I right? Except for us having a balanced offense, I totally called it.

If McFadden had been on God's team this game would've been over in the 3rd quarter. I'm not saying I don't LOVE Grant (I do) but McFadden is a very special player. He literally carries the hogs.

Grant is also just a a red shirt freshman..........don't know if he will ever be in McFadden's league.........totally different styles.

DMac is the most explosive back to come through the SEC since Bo Jackson. Terry Grant (though will be a very good rb for Bama) isn't even in that category. These type of backs come around just every so often.

McFadden is def the best RB in the nation in my op. Really in the 2nd half we couldnt stop him for nothing and he just kept going. Strong, runs hard, class, I wish him the best the rest of the year and in the NFL.

Good for Grant to play hard and get to watch this boy play. Hopefully he'll learn from him, hes a good one to learn from.....
