To be honest, I actually like Randy Shannon - seems like a good guy trying to remake Miami with a new attitude.

I think you're right. Anyone who can come up and be successful after what he has been through is o.k. with me, even if hes just a successful stock boy.
When he was a youngster his father was murdered and then both his brothers died from aids due to drug use. Thats enough to cause weaker people to give in to the same types of problems.

No way is Shula a better coach than Fran. Not even in the same stratosphere. Mike Shula would have never sniffed a HCing job on his own merits. Heck, he would probably be unemployed today if he weren't Don's kid. I have no use for Fran, but at least he made his way in the coaching profession on his own.
