Well, I agree with what you said about him holding the whole program hostage for two years. That is the reason I am thrilled that he is leaving. With that said, I do wish him the best elsewhere, but I just don't see a good future for him in the NFL.

I never wish someone the worst, but I have to admit that as of right now I’m just happy the era is over. I hope he gets paid, but some of the things i know I’m still a little bit sour over. But I am also reminded that Nick Saban for better or worse created this situation.

I can only speculate that there are deeper things at work here. There has to be some kind of NIL stipulation or something that said “Milroe must play”. There’s simply no explanation for him to stay in the game against several teams this year.

I agree. I am convinced that Coach DeBoer had his hands tied because of the Lank situation. I hope the program leadership never lets this happen again.

I want him to have zero ties to the university and its sports programs moving forward. I can envision few things more toxic than Milroe leaching off the athletic department indefinitely. Sorry not sorry.

He was 2 away from tying for the most INT's in the country, and 2 away from tying for the most fumbles. It's probably safe to say he led the nation in total turnover's by several.

That would seem to indicate that at the very worst, he's a 2nd rounder?

I wouldn't risk Beck early because of the nature of the injury he sustained. He would have to make me believe his arm was well and probably won't be able to throw for several months.

I'm not really high on either of them, but I think Beck is a better QB than Milroe.

I think if we had swapped QBs at the start of the season, I think the season results in terms of wins/postseason would probably be pretty close to swapped as well.

I'm not saying Beck is a "can't miss prospect'. I'm saying we know for a fact Jalen Milroe cannot read defenses and doesn't feel pressure. He's going to get killed in the NFL. Beck has shown he can be an elite passer. I agree he didn't have a stellar year, but I think that's more because UGA's schedule was much harder, and it's clear there were other distractions off the field for him.
