Moore's Actions at the end of the game...

When I was growing up, if I was misbehaving, my grandmother used to say she'd "jerk a knot in me" if I didn't stop. I totally believed she could do it. :)

Mine know it's true. All five of my kids played or are currently play sports. I coach HS level kids all the way down to 11 yr olds. When it comes to sportsmanship my wife and I run a very, very tight ship with a zero tolerance policy for bad sportsmanship. My middle son acted a donkey during a game when he was 12. His coach was too concerned about making a scene to discipline him during the game. So after I realized the coach wasn't going to do anything, I got up out of my seat, walked onto the field, got his bag in one hand and him in the other, and walked him off the field. I took him to the parking lot and tore his butt up.

Ask me has he remotely acted like that again. Nope!

Why would you spank him over his actions playing a sport?

Disrespecting the coach or another adult I could understand

Being an old country boy (my Dad was a hard scrap iron worker with a 8th grade education and a product of the Great Depression) I truly thought i had heard every expression and colloquialism known to mankind but I’d never heard the “soul would be present with Jesus” tag line at the end. THAT is awesome…

There was another clip where DeBoer had to go round up players to get them in the locker room after the game. Players wanting to keep jaw jacking. Too bad they wanted to run their mouths afterwards instead of letting their actions on the field speak for them.

This speaks volumes in terms of lack of discipline. Time to start coaching and stop babysitting.

MM's little tantrum is bad, but refusing to leave the field when the coach sends in a replacement ... that's beyond unacceptable. I'm not sure what I'd do, but there would be some serious disciplinary action for that. That's a total lack of control of the players on the field. You can't allow that to happen.

The team address that with Moore. What about the coaches? I'm curious to know how CKW and CKD addressed the issue.

I trust the team also meant the coaches included. I'm more interested in their response next week. THAT will tell us a lot, both about the players and the coaches.

This is potentially the culmination of the decline we’ve all seen in this program since 2020. Not necessarily in wins, but in physicality, fundamentals, leadership, and the fortitude it takes to get everyone’s best shot week in and week out.

Saban’s business approach may have not been the most entertaining, but it kept the keel far more even than what has transpired over the last few weeks.

As I’ve said before, I just hope this is the motivation these guys need to understand that it takes work to be champions, not just attendance.
