• A pair of diamond-studded dog tags from Buchwald Jewelers for approximately $15,000. According to a summary document acquired by Yahoo! Sports, Shapiro informed federal agents of the purchase of the dog tags during taped interview sessions. However, government documents recounted the value of the dog tags at $26,000.
Devin Hester
• Cash for rims for Hester’s sport utility vehicle.
• Approximately $3,000 for an engagement ring.
• Playoff tickets to a Miami Heat versus Detroit Pistons playoff game on June 6, 2005. Shapiro said it was at this game that Hester proposed to his girlfriend with the ring also purchased by the booster.
Robert Marve
• Drinks and VIP access during strip club visits to Solid Gold, The Cheetah and Tootsie’s Cabaret. Shapiro said one such visit occurred in late August 2008. Shapiro said he took Marve and wideout Kayne Farquharson to Solid Gold after Marve told him he had been having problems with his girlfriend.
Willis McGahee
• Plane tickets for McGahee’s girlfriend and a second woman to attend the 2002 Heisman Trophy ceremony in New York City. According to a summary document acquired by Yahoo! Sports, the booster told federal agents about the purchase of the tickets in taped interviews.
