I'm with you on the welcome or at least acceptance of a bit of levity. OTOH, hate to offend In this atmosphere of super thin skin and seriousness.

I saw that too..I haven't paid much attention to Jason King in the past so I am not sure how reliable he is or up to speed on his accuracy. I believe he is from bleacher report.
Yea, he (Jason King ) is like many a local media guy, he wants to be loved. Surely he doesn't think Gregg would tell everyone he is going to take the Bama job and sit on his backside for two days deciding. Gregg would probably let it be know that it is very unlikely he is leaving, if WSU can just raise his salary a little.

I want somebody that is excited to be here and has the full, ENTHUSIASTIC support of their family. If that's CGM then fine, if not I say we move on.
I certainly hope that Texas isn't the cause of this whole thing being in a waiting period.. but I think or hope its more of a family discussion for the cause.
I have to admit I'm utterly perplexed by the reports of Marshall preferring Texas, especially if you contrast that with the reports Smart might prefer Alabama. Could both schools really be wasting time going after the wrong guy? Of course I've heard so many versions at this point I'm not sure what to believe.

On the other hand, I've read a number of articles stating that CGM is a man of integrity and that he would not disrespect Battle by wasting his time.
If this is true and we are not in the picture at all, then he needs to tell us and let us go on to plan B. That is what makes me think that this is not true. Why would he string us along if it was either stay at Wichita or go to Texas? Doesn't make sense.
I've heard from sources that Gregg Marshall is just a smoke screen and the we are about to hire Tom Izzo as soon as the final 4 is over. (blue font)

No idea who this guy is, but given how much time has passed, this is about where I'm at. I'd love to see Marshall in T-town, but I'm getting the feeling it's between Austin and Wichita.
