Thanks for the article. Those veggies are some of my favorites. I have passed this to my BIL who has some issues here. CANVAS is my 600 lb gorilla. Among other symptoms, unfortunately, it has robbed me of my sense of taste and smell.
Covering more than one base, I have Medicare A & B plus my Federal BCBS. Since 2018, I qualify for human pin cushion. I also keep all the MRI equipment and personnel in business. Medicare is my primary, with BCBS secondary. Some items Medicare does not cover, but BCBS does. BCBS also covers co-pays. Except for meeting the yearly minimums, I have not any cost. My wife and sons typically cover the yearly minimums since they are all younger than 65. In 2018, I started IVIG treatment at home. This was three days of treatment each month. I did this for two years until I realized that I was longer getting a benefit from the treatment. As an example of the cost of this treatment a single day's IVIG was billed to me for $150,000. This was from BCBS because Medicare did not cover it.
However, the good news was that BCBS had a billing error. Once all the dust had settled, I owed nothing. That was a great weight lifted off my back!!
