I think that's exactly what's coming, especially at the QB and OL positions. For both, it's hard to extrapolate HS performance into college. And for the majority of players, both take some time to develop. Do your developing in a context that doesn't cost you any eligibility, then go pro in the college ranks. Even if you're not an NFL prospect, you can make good money for 5 years and have a huge head start on financial stability after college.At some point we will see lawsuits and professional college players like Roy... I mean... a million bucks a year isn't bad money! Pavia has already pushed the envelope out. If nothing else, a solid 3* could go to JUCO a couple of years and develop and then play 5 full years for good cash.
It won't be long before we see 27 year old college players.
