I agree this stuff is trivial. However, I don't understand how these are mere honest and insignificant mistakes while the mispronunciations and etiquette of he-who-shall-not-be-named were sure signs of idiocy.

You can call him who he is. George W. Bush, Bush 43, but you're not getting away with Shrub, Chimp, or the usual pejoratives.

So, I'm to understand that now the general forum gripe is that they can't call someone by their given name? :)

:conf2:

Just poking fun at the fact that George W. Bush seems to be a swear word on here. I rarely see the name GWB without the word "idiot" somewhere nearby. :)

My question is, where are his advisors at? Shouldn't they be giving him quality advice to keep him out of such situations.

Wrong, but thanks for playing.

But since you brought it up, why should I not bring Bush into it? What shining republican example should I compare the embarassing deed to? I dare say Obama simply pulled a Bush.
Lets roll out a few shining examples from the DNC:

Clinton - Nice stain
Jimma - What military?
Johnson - Vietnam/Great Society - need we say more?
Truman - Ah yes, Harry Truman...had he listened to Patton and MacArthur we would have kicked the hell out of the Soviets right after the Germans surrendered...and nuked the Chinese before they crossed the Yalu.

Truman may very well be responsible for our huge military spending for the last 50 years because of his ineptness.

The DNC has really produced some fine candidates. Thank you for your outstanding leadership and thank you for playing. Move along now.

The right should canonize him then.:p (I know he's not dead but an exception could be made here)
Well the left should cononize Jimmy Carter because we are going back to his era at light speed. Reduction of military, hyper inflation, high taxes, and mass unemployment.

The White House is saying BHO didn't bow but if he didn't bow he was bending over to kiss his behind.

I saw the video last night. If it wasn't a bow, as the White House said, I'm not sure what it was.

Maybe the Leader of the Free World dropped his cigarettes and was bending over to pick them up or something.

I think even our board libs can't swallow that.

Obama White House: " Who ya gonna believe... me, or your lying eyes?"

Well, i guess the proper modicum of respect is to kiss the prince on the lips:

Or just go for a walk in the park, holding hands:
