BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- LSU head coach Les Miles says quarterback Ryan Perrilloux and linebacker Derrick Odom will not practice with the team in preparation for Saturday's Alabama game, after their alleged involvement in a nightclub brawl.

I'm assuming that if they don't practice then they don't play.

Re: Perriloux, Odom out for LSU

It sounds like Les is about done with these two, whether or not any charges are brought against them.

According to a police report, bouncers at the Varsity claimed they were forced to escort LSU football players Perrilloux and Odom outside the club after they refused to leave. Parish law says bars must close at 2 a.m. Bouncers also said several subjects made statements that they would leave and come back with guns.

Perilloux and Odom told police they were unfairly treated by the bouncers, and that the bouncers shoved them and their pregnant girlfriends out of the club. No charges have been filed and no arrests have been made.

errr...ok

Re: Perriloux, Odom out for LSU

Regardless, with or without Perriloux.... Saban's gameplan strategy will not change.

Re: Perriloux, Odom out for LSU?

Justice has to run its course here, but if I am CLM and they are guilty then I would think he has had enough of these guys. Team cancer as it were.

Re: Perriloux, Odom out for LSU?

I know this boards policy on rumors so I won't start any but I've heard from a guy who's associated with the guy that owns the Varsity and from his story....it doesn't sound good at all for these young men.

Re: Perriloux, Odom out for LSU?

Here is a copy of the police report.

DISPATCH/ CONTACT/ ASSIGNMENT INFORMATION:

On Friday, October 26, 2007, at approximately 0212 hrs., the Baton Rouge Police Department received several calls in reference to a large fight in the rear parking lot of the Varsity, which is located at 3353 Highland Rd. Several officers and I, Ofc. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, were dispatched to the complaint at 0214 hrs.

XXXX:

The incident is closed, no arrests made. There is a possibility charges may be pursued at a later date by some of the parties involved.

INVESTIGATION:

Upon arrival, at 0217 hrs., I made contact with the club owner,XXXXXXXXXXXX, who stated his bouncers were attempting to clear the club when a few subjects refused to leave. The bouncers asked them several times to leave and they refused. The bouncers then tried to shove the subjects out of the bar. The subjects began to resist and a fight broke out between the bouncers and the subjects. The bouncers were able to force the subjects outside. Once outside, the bouncers continued to defend themselves and fight with the subjects. Mr. XXXXXXXXX stated that several subjects made statements that they would leave, but come back with guns to shoot the staff and the club itself. The police arrived shortly after.

I then spoke to XXXXXXXXXXXX, the head bouncer/ security guard. Mr. XXXXXXXXXXx stated he was clearing the club at 0200 hrs., as required by city ordinance. Mr. XXXXXXXXX stated he came upon a small group of black males. Mr. XXXXXXXXX told them it was time for them to leave as the club was shutting down. One of the black males, later identified as Ryan Perrilloux, stated they weren't going anywhere and refused to leave. Mr. XXXXXXXXXXXx told them to move on several times, with refusals each time. Finally, Mr. XXXXXXXXXX, along with several other bouncers, began to shove the subjects out of the club's rear exit. The subjects became combative and a fight ensued between the black males and the bouncers. Once outside the bouncers began to get an advantage over the black males, at which point one of the males began making statements to the effect of getting a gun to shoot the bar and it's workers. The police showed up and began dispersing the crowd.

I then spoke to the subject who was the most confrontational inside the bar, Ryan Perrilloux, who stated he and his pregnant girlfriend were being harassed by the security staff inside the club at closing time. Mr. Perrilloux stated the bouncers walked up on he and his girlfriend and started shoving them for no reason. At one point, a bouncer grabbed his girlfriend and held in a bear hug, treating her like a man. This upset Mr. Perrilloux who began trying to fight off the bouncers to protect his girlfriend. Mr. Perilloux's friends joined in and they also began fighting the bouncers. Mr. Perrilloux stated they were forced out of the club, where it seemed like he and his small group of friends were fighting off approximately 50 people. The police started arriving on scene and they were able to separate and go to their vehicles. Mr. Perrilloux stated no one in his group had any weapons and felt they were mistreated because of their skin color.

I then spoke to Derrick Odom who stated he was in the club when the bouncers approached Mr. Perrilloux and their group. Mr. Odom stated that the bouncer also shoved him and his pregnant girlfriend. This upset Mr. Odom and he, like Mr. Perrilloux began fighting off the bouncers in an effort to protect themselves and their girlfriends.

I spoke to Mr. XXXXXXXXXXXX again to see if he wished to pursue charges at this time. Mr. XXXXXXXXXX stated he just wanted the subjects off his property, and told they were no longer welcome at the Varsity.

I advised Mr. Perrilloux he and his friends were no longer allowed back on the property designated as the Varsity or the staff would call the police to arrest him for entry or remaining after forbidden.

I advised Mr. Perrilloux and Mr. Odom I would write a report covering both sides of the situation and they could pursue charges at a later date by contacting the D.A.'s office. I then stood by until Mr. Perrilloux and his friends left the scene. Patrol resumed.

A short time later I was called back to the Varsity for a different call. While there, I was approached by XXXXXXXXXXXXXx who stated her vehicle was damaged when the fight drifted out to the parking lot. During the fight, XXXXXXXXXXXXxs' 2002 Suzuki Aerio was damaged. A quarter panel on the driver's side was dented in. XXXXXXXXXXXX just wanted the damage documented should she need a report to have the damage repaired. Patrol resumed, nothing further.

Re: Perriloux, Odom out for LSU

Good to know their pregnant girlfriends are hanging out at bars

Haha, that's a good point. I am not a doctor, but isn't it unhealthy for the baby if a pregnant woman drinks alchol while she is pregnant. Perriloux and Odom both have girlfriends who are pregnant? Do any of the LSU players have girlfriends who are not pregnant? ;)

Gotta get the big recruits there somehow ;)

You can go into a bar and not actually drink. Let's try not to hammer the girls without actually knowing anything about them.

They probably weren't drinking, and I don't even know if smoking is allowed in BR, BUT I still just don't think a bar (or club) is the place dudes need to be taking their pregnant girlfriends...I know I wouldn't have wanted my wife there when she was pregnant with ours

But, that's just my personal choice...The baby may not have been in any harm at all, but if you know your pregnant girfriend is with you, it is your responsibilty not to put her in a bad position, and getting into it with bouncers is not a good way to achieve that goal...JMO

Re: Perriloux, Odom out for LSU?

I bet Perriloux wishes He would have went to Texas. He has wasted his talent at LSU with all the troubles he has got into.

I am not judging if they should have been there, just saying we shouldn't acuse them of drinking while pregnant based SOLELY on their presence in a bar.

It seems according to the police reports, the players refused to leave when it came time to close. RP and others put his GF at risk by not just following that request peacefully.
