**OFFICIAL** Arkansas Game Day Thread

First Half Thoughts:

The two scoring drives were Alabama football. We have to run the ball like that. Guillon has not looked bad. Prothro has cost him two completions IMO. That screen pass was a thing of beauty.

Defensively, the two hawg scoring drives, we looked like we were on our heels. The rest of the time, we've been pretty much on our toes.

Special teams, pretty good coverage, and almost blocked punt and EP, and Bostic hit the FG. Brooks needs to learn to call a fair catch.

Overall, would rather be leading, but down only 4 in the hog house is not bad. We get the ball first, and build from there. I look for Castille to get some carries in the second half, with lots more of Hudson.

Well, we outplayed them and trail by 4 points at half. If we come out of the gates and score, we can keep their crowd out of the game and win this thing. We still have not thrown the ball down the field once.

Their first drive was luck! They had one decent drive the first half. If we can open up our passing game the second we'll cruise to a victory. Stay positive people.

ROLL TIDE

Seems as though we always let down after we get the lead. Why? Keep the intensity even when we have the lead. That has been my concern the whole year is that it seems as though we go to sleep at times. Look brilliant most of the time and then just lapse for a couple of series.

The only things that are bothering me are:

1) Where are the passes. Guillon knows this offense. While did not expect to see "air Bama", I did expect to see more in the air than just what, 7?

2) Why not go all out in the last 49 seconds and try to score?

The running game has been exceptional, and with the exception of a few breakdowns, the defense has been solid. I am not quite sure what happened on that last score, but i suppose I must give props to Matt, as that should have been a sack, but he made it into a score.

So far, Jones is the difference in this game. When we have pressured him, he has been ineffective. If we pressure him in the second half, we will win. If not, we will lose. I think that we will pressure him and win, but then again, I thought that we would have thrown a few long passes to stretch their defense and that hasn't happened...

I think it was smart to go in at half time without trying to score with less than a minute left. If Shula would have done that and had a turn-over everybody would have went nuts! Good decision CMS!!!

So far our D has been awesome except for two drives. We are the better team...we just need to quit the turnovers.
