**OFFICIAL** Bama vs LSU Post Game Thread

Re: Lesters day is coming soon..

I agree with you. LSU's talent was just too much for us to handle. I don't really believe in moral victories, but I think this game shows that the writing is on the wall for LSU and other such teams. Given just a little time to get his players together, Saban is going to easily beat teams like this. A great coach would not have a team out there that committed as many penalties as they did, nor would they have needed all the favorable replay calls to go their way to beat a team that so clearly had less talent on the field. Coach Saban got a lot more out of his players today than Miles got from his.

Re: good game tide fans

your players played with a lot of heart despite the discrepency in talent

Thanks.

If you think we played that well with such discrepency in talent, just wait until next season.

Good "luck" on the rest of your season. It certainly has followed you against Florida, Auburn, and Alabama.

I'll give you a little warning, though: Watch out for Arkansas.

With Monk back, they're laying the wood to South Carolina.

1st and foremost...congrats to LSU.

2nd: Whoever determined that the Cadell catch was NOT a catch doesn't deserve a good night's sleep for the rest of his life. Point blank. No arguments. The was a catch, and everybody breathing knows it was a catch. In short, we got screwed. Call me a whiner...call me a complainer...but that was a catch, and I hope somebody's feet are put to the fire come Monday morning.

3rd: We pass too much, and our defense didn't penetrate enough (no QB has any business running the ball up the gut for 5 and 8 yrd gains.

With all that said, everybody on the field played their hearts out, and I'm proud of the Tide for their efforts. It's just a cryin' shame that somebody can put as much effort into making a play only to have it taken from them by someone in a suit with an agenda.

Roll Tide.

yep! That is what I was trying to say

Re: I'm proud of the job the players and coaches did

Krazy... this is not just towards you, but also to everyone. We are not going to tolerate posters telling other posters what they should or should not post! If it happens, people will quickly get tossed. Comprende?

I understand your point, I'm not a moderator here so it wouldn't be my place to tell others what to do. On the forums I do moderate I try to allow others to express them self even if I do not agree with what they are saying. However, I will reiterate my sentiments. I didn't like hearing it here for instance: http://www.tidefans.com/forums/showpost.php?p=716371&postcount=16

I think that's horrible and I will not hesitate to say so. However, I had no intention of trying to infer that I was not going to allow others to say those types of things, I simply do not feel it is warranted and I do not want to hear it.

Very Good Game. Easy to see that the guys played with heart not rolling over when we were down 17-3 and things looked bad. I'm excited about the future of Bama Football.

Roll Tide.

Merry Christmas Lester Miles

Am I the only one who sees Miles as the luckiest guy in America. He's a decent coach or he wouldn't be where he is. There are no moral victories...but the amount of talent LSU has on their team compared to ours is unbelievable...and we still fought and had the game in hand. Give LSU credit for doing what they had to do to win...but wow.

JPW just blew it at the end....he needs to learn to pull the ball in when he looks as if he is going to be sacked.

That said, we played better on Defense than I thought we would, I am afraid the suspensions hurt us more in this game than the ones incurred by LSWho.

On to MSU......beat them and the barners and it will still be a good year.

It is rediculous to say that JPW blew the game. He played with heart and he also put us in an opportunity to win.
Not being able to run the ball is what cost us the game.

Re: I'm proud of the job the players and coaches did

I've been lurking, reading this board for a couple of years now, and although I am in Illinois, I have kin down there, off mt olive. All I want to say is I am proud of the team, I look forward to the future, and I love being on this board.
