Ok, I didn’t follow the rule changes they put in place this year. When does the clock stop? Looks like incomplete passes and going out of bounds, but the clock starts once the ball is set. No 2min rule? No changes to the stoppages under 2min? I don’t know what to expect any more:

First downs and out of bounds only stop the clock in the last 2 minutes of each half

Exactly. Shaky versus MTSU. Joyless murder ball doesn’t care about the opponent, it kills indiscriminately. He’s got to hit the open guys.

I like It so far. Better discipline. Receivers catching the ball. I know we’re not playing a powerhouse, but that hasn’t stopped them from wetting the bed the last couple of years.

No back-to back TOs and no free time-free downs when a Quarter ends on a defensive penalty. The down carries over to the next quarter. All of it gives more time for commercials. So far, I can't tell that it's shortened the game...
