Yes I watched the game and our pass rush didn’t exist. That simply can’t happen. There is not an OL in the country that can block the Cheetah Package consistently. Our secondary was horrible in this game.
Or the viles weren't getting called for holding and it looked like our DLs had given up because it...🤔

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
These kids are out there getting there getting there asses whooped in practice, in games, so we get 5 months of fun out of it from the outside looking in every flipping fall. I won't hear a word spoken against them for muffing a punt, or dropping a ball, or missing a block or throwing a pick.

Do they make mistakes? Yeah. No doubt. They're human. Don't hold that against them on a personal basis. They're doing their best.

They're still kids and they're still putting more effort into this than practically any of us could realize. Go easy on them. They're not making a living out of this. They're playing a game which we're observing for fun.

Stop blaming the players. It is getting old. Saban needs to own this clown show. Bear always took the blame for losses. He would own up to being outcoached. It is the job of the coaches to get the players ready to play. Maybe Golding and Bob are moonlighting selling Mercedes-Benz autos, but a blind man could see that Bama was outcoached in all phases of the game.

Whether he thought that or not, that is what has happened. And maybe it was more of a "Nobody has heard of this Pete Golding guy that much, I can develop him within the system and he will be here for a while" approach.
It was reported that PG was so impressive in his interviews, CNS saw his him as the next great defensive mind. And, personally, I think Saban may have seen a little bit of his younger “self” in Pete. And that maybe why CNS has hung with him.
That said, I can have the greatest knowledge of the structure, function, and responses of the human brain. That doesn’t qualify me as a great “neurosurgeon”. The patient outcomes do.
Right now, PG’s “patient outcomes” need to be reviewed.

Penalties, Penalties, Penalties. Plus, a bigger push by our defense. Bama would have left Neyland Stadium with a win. Better execution on a few of the pass plays. On offense, the ball through Holden's arms was critical.

And you called me "sanctimonious" lol
Look, I don't know you from Adam. Perhaps your motives are as pure as the driven snow. Personally, I think the opposite is rather clear.

But your behavior so far in this thread is roughly this:

You go on a rival team's message board immediately after a loss to that team's other major rival and make a snarky comment that you could not possibly have expected to go over well.

You get called on it.

You then proceed to pick a fight with another well-known, respected poster over what can best be described as semantics. You continue the argument beyond all possible utility, even to the point of publicly questioning the man's character.

You get called on that as well.

You then start in on the people calling you out on your behavior, including myself - trying to goad me into some kind of body-part-measuring contest over post count. (For what it's worth, I've been a member here about 8 years longer than you. How many times I've typed words into this box is irrelevant to this discussion.)

If the above behavior is anything other than "nonsensical" and "sanctimonious," then I guess my dictionary needs updating.

The refs were terrible, our defensive calls, gameplay, schemes, and adjustments were equally as bad, the oc escapes from further harsh reflection because regardless of our oc’s attempts to sabotage himself and our offense, via bad play calls etc., the athletes we have persevere and the sheer amount of points and yards they continually put up just provide extra cover, please don’t report me audub.

If you do not like criticism, warranted or not, I suggest you might want to quit watching and going online because with the nil money expectations, scrutiny and criticism regardless the individual’s age, fair or unfair, just or unjust, ethical or not will only increase and substantially at that. When you are officially getting paid money to play you become much like a coach or for that matter any professional athlete. RTR
