Just a simple questions for those of you old enough to remember the 1985 IRON bowl in Bham. Which final play did you find yourself celebrating its a rhetorical question . The 1985 Kick win or the 2023 4 and prayer. https://www.google.com/search?q=van...ate=ive&vld=cid:4bd21f93,vid:oc8wBMBnkmo,st:0 I still get chills when I watch this clip. I dont have a good word for what I feel right now. I wish they would but the Iron bowl back in Bham. It would still be if it had not been for Auburn. I hope this loss makes them love how they feel now.

The stats are remarkable. Alabama out gained AU by 120, Alabama did not turn it over, AU turned it over 3 times (though 2, IMO, were inconsequential), yet it took a great, clutch desperation play on 4th and 31 into the end zone, to enable Alabama to come from behind and win.
If that doesn’t scream “the refs injected themselves into the game” I don’t know what does

Well I dunno what I am.

I watched them win an IB on basically the 2nd Walkoff in a row at JH and didn’t even react.

I just stared at the screen apathetic and waiting for it to be taken away.

Just straight zero reaction.

I still feel nothing.

Im not happy, relieved, exited,… just nothing.

I’ve never felt or not felt like this.

It’s like we lost… but worse… we won when we absolutely shouldn’t have in a game we had no buisiness even being close to losing to begin with.

But win or lose the whole damn thing was rigged with one horribly missed call after another.

NCAA officiating may have crushed my fandom of the sport.

Like what’s the point if you aren’t going to even remotely get a fair shake.

Buddy I feel the same way , my wife asked me why I was so moody after we won.

Those were two evenly matched teams.

Tonight was not. It makes it difficult to know how to feel right now. I suspect in time I will have the proper appreciation for what took place tonight.

Also Two TD called back for penalties has to factor into that.
