Just about everyone on TideFans predicted 9-3 for DeBoer's first year.

But, we sure didn't predict we would lose to Vandy, thus costing us the playoffs and self respect.

That was my prediction, though it changed after the Georgia win. That win messed us up - changed hopes and expectations

That win was actually bad for team growth. Not just fan expectations.

Just be glad we won the game. We left 21 points on the board. Three fumbles. The int that's another7 points.

We've beat the horse on Jalen... Two things that still **** me off: Keeping the ball on zone reads. He made six bad reads tonight.

I'm glad to see RBs getting more touches and that's what we need to be doing . TEs getting the ball early and often, that was huge!

Ryan WIlliams hit the freshman wall. He keeps dropping the ball. He will fix it in the off season


Defense has been real good as usual. They're doing great job so far.

So anyone calling for Wommack to be fired.. Chill on that. On to the next game.

I don’t like the dumb personal foul penalties, but it’s kind of refreshing to see someone taking the game seriously. They just need to channel that enthusiasm into the game.

Statistically better defense than any since Pruitt was DC. Sure didn’t seem like it, especially not against Vandy

No, Vandy surprised everyone. We were unlucky to catch them early. I think we win had we played later in the season.

I met Malachi at a HS game when he was a junior at Hewitt-Trussville. Really nice kid. Not one you would think would have those type penalties.

Always represents the university well during interviews on and off the field

Yeah, it wont be easy but I think the improvement will be much better............get quite a few teams at home

I agree with this.The Vandy (and frankly, UT) loss was unacceptable. Oklahoma was LA Monroe levels of bad...but at least Saban gave some indications during ULM week that things could be rough.

The Vandy and OU losses were the “unacceptable” ones.

Unfortunately, UT has a very good football team this year. It’s not ok we lost, but that loss isn’t anywhere near the same especially on the road.

Georgia, South Carolina, Missouri, and Auburn are SEC road games. Gonna have be a LOT more mature to go even 2-2 in those.
