Bama Game Thread: Official Postgame Thread - Bama vs. Michigan...

Michigan outplayed us when they needed to. I liked the way we were rotating the running backs. Milroe didn’t play his best but for all the dogging on him this year he was a big part of the reason we made it to this game as well as the coaches. I do think their oline held quite a bit and it wasn’t called. They did a better job of coaching and doing things to confuse us. You will get out coached if you do this long enough.

I will still watch these football games though because I enjoy them. I just won’t stay up til midnight next Monday though.

Most sacks given up since 1996. I think we all remember Freddie Kitchens got killed every game.

Not all were on the OL, sure, but this OL seriously underachieved tonight.

I don’t think that’s right. We gave up 12 against Auburn in 2005

It’s not just that. It’s refusing to taking hits for 1st downs and misreading zone reads. He has a ways to go but there is legitimate hope.
Maybe, but there’s a much better passer on the bench who might leave now. If the running qb isn’t going to run to make his passing easier, what’s he in for?

I couldn’t say. But I can’t count how many replays I watched tonight and our OL was just flat footed or they just got shoved out of the way. On the last play, 65 got knocked flat on his butt.

That early QB sneak when they stuffed us....I still don't think we made that. Their DL was better than our OL by leaps and bounds.

I agree wont be pulling for any of teams remaining in the playoff. Seeing this team play after the 3rd game, I knew this was a Auburn year to crash and burn, but this team is so driven by milore's success or failure. I am glad we will have a new line next year, I hope we develop a QB thats consistent and has ice in his veins. I am done with football till spring. RTR and Happy New Year...

Give CTR a break! We had fundamental flaws at center and QB all year long. I give JM credit for growth, but he's still so raw as a pocket passer and he just has terrible field vision/awareness.

What is CTR supposed to do other than what he did? UM knew what we were going to do because that's basically all JM can do. Throw in center issues AGAIN and it is a recipe for disaster.

When you have to make chicken salad out of you know what all year long you are not going to look good as an offensive play caller.
I’m ok with Rees. Although I don’t understand not testing the outside more alll game. But there are still many bolts to be tightened in this program.

I’m glad and proud they made it as far as they did. But something was just off all year. I guess the margins are just so much thinner now than 5 years ago.

Milroe/Sayin is going to be the next Jalen/Tua. Both Jalens are talented (one more than the other), both had some amazing moments and have represented UA well, but when it comes down to it both are one read and scramble. When Tua came in it was like fans saw the light at how good QB can be played. Same thing will happen with Sayin.

Bama will not win a championship with 4 under center unless they tailor the offense to him. So far that hasn’t happened.

Can we stop with this UGA is the best team in the country? Bama exposed their weaknesses and beat them straight up in a defacto playoff game. Was UGA very good? Yes. A top 5 team. But, not better than Bama. Results speak for themselves.

GA would have been favored against Michigan by at least a TD. Everyone kept laughing when I kept reminding folks Michigan was actually favored against us..
