Great win tonight. Sets us up pretty good to get a bye in the first round of the SEC tournament. It would be nice if things would work out so Bama could be a 3 seed on SEC tournament (thus not having to play Kentucky until championship game).

I on't caught a few minutes because we were waiting to be seated at a restaurant. Question: W/ ~13 minues left in the 2nd half, there was some kind of stoppage for review. What was going on there?

Green forearmed a player from MSU. Refs reviewed it to see if it was intentional. Film didn't show much.. Nothing happen to Green other than he got a foul.

Looked like Moultrie is the one who initiated. But Green's rep got that foul.

Jacobs got fouls on three horrible calls

That was definitely a rep foul. They simply fighting for the same spot. I just want to say it's amazing how much better out offense looks when we make 3 pointers.

Had a great time at the game tonight. Coleman was rocking there several times. I was really impressed with the play of Randolph and the footwork of Engstrom. He is really developing.

A good time was had by all of our group in T-town today. A nice crowd, although it was far from full, that had its moments of rowdiness. Levi was awesome, Green's return was positive, and Grant can flat-out coach. A victory over Stansbury always make my day an ejoyable one.

Looking forward to heading back up for the administering of a good old fashioned spanking on Wednesday.

The stats showed 1500 empty seats. It looked full on TV. Were there many empty seats? It was listed as a sellout. Anyway there was great crowd noise.

Stansbury is putting a lot of miles on Bost and Moultrey. Reminds me of a Bama player who was overused a few years ago. It seems to be telling on the team at the end of the year.

Re: ****Official Postame Thread - Bama vs. MSU @ Home****

Head Coach Rick Stansbury

Opening Statement:

"I thought we took the last play of the half into the locker room. We came out in the first five minutes of the second half and played just like that. That was the basketball game. We went in at halftime with a play that was not very smart by Dee Bost. We were just hanging our heads. We came out that second half and went down by five in the first 30 seconds. They knocked down a three pointer in their first possession. It might not have even been 30 seconds. They hit three three's in the first three or four minutes. From there it was just a battle and you are trying to battle back. That was basically the game. I give Alabama some credit. They jumped up and made some shots. Three of those six three pointers came in those first three or four minutes of the second half."

Doesn't it seem odd for a coach to single out a player like that- by first and last name? He mentions it again too later in the interview. Just don't like this guy's tone- Thanks for giving us "some credit" there Stansbury....jerk. Hopefully this just sealed your NIT fate- couldn't happen to a more deserving person/team.

I think Stansbury hates to lose to Bama as bad as I hate losing to Mi$$ $T.

Overall I thought it was easily our best performance of the season.

We honestly looked like a great all around basketball team.

This may well be the deepest team we've ever had. We started the season as a three man team. We are now an eleven man team....very impressive
