  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS for supporting the site and being an active participant!

I said it last week but if you go back and look at last year’s Washington team, he had a lot of close games vs inferior opponents. You can get away with that in the Pac-12, not in the SEC. He may be the best coach in the country right now when it comes to big games but beating the teams you’re supposed to be and in convincing fashion is what separates good teams from great teams.
Dig it. But he did coach there only 2 years and had them in the National Championship game last year. I think we have a lot to build on but gonna be an up and down season this year for sure.

Tidefans...The level of negative hyperbole, chicken little proclamations, and front runner syndrome ITT is surprising to me. If we donʻt win every game 42-10 itʻs essentially a loss? Where is the fun in that?

Process this game and the others however you want. Itʻs a W. We move on. We get better, if all goes to plan. Of course there are issues on defense, third down, the inability to finish on the QB. Itʻs infuriating to me, too.

But itʻs a SEC win. Iʻll take it, on to the next.
Problem is we ain't getting better. Every team is gonna play us defensively just like Vandy and USCe. Stack the box and bring more than we can block and cover deep. Until we show we can hit slants and screens on time and such this is what it's gonna be.

it will depend on what else happens today. if teams ahead of us lose and teams behind us lose, you cannot drop.
Last year after we lost to Texas they dropped us a few spots and then when we struggle won vs USF they severely dropped us to 11th-12th

We almost lost 2 straight games we were favored by 3 TDs so I’m expecting another severe punishment.

I mean this is a worse situation because there is no excuse like last year where our starting QB was out.

We were Full strength today and played like garbage right after an embarrassing loss the previous week.

Who knows what the voters will do and you’re right that it will depend on other games outcomes.

I wish they’d drop us out of the Top 15.

Something needs to get these dudes attention because apparently losing to Vandy for the 1st time in 40 years didn’t.

There is a clear strategy to stop the offense and the score on the defense. If DeBoer and Wommack don't make major adjustments then there will be more losses. I am a very optimistic person, and generally choose to believe that good things will happen even when all evidence points in the other direction. The last 9 quarters of Alabama football have tested that. I am trying to be willfully optimistic.

Do we really have as much talent as some people think we have?
Milroe might be our only 1st rounder in 2025 draft (Booker is probably high 2nd) and defense doesn't look like it has any 1st rounders in the near future.
We have plenty of talent . Look at the last five recruiting classes. This ALL goes on the coaches! Terrible player development, terrible play calling, and terrible game planning.

Exactly what is the payroll of this staff? Not sure the athletic department is getting its monies worth.
