Felt like we needed home run coordinator hires, we ended up with 3rd tier hires and it showed tonight
Yelverton Abraham Tittle from 1963.
And frankly, the last few years have emphasized how hard it is for "old dogs to learn new tricks".we are here because the game is changing
Coaching is one of them.............I love Saban, but he has to be willing to change the QB, or get those guys some playing time.3 of the 6 highest ranked recruiting classes in history are on campus right now, yet this is the result. Something isn’t right.
I agree totally with #4.1. Texas DL was better than our OL.
2. Texas OL was better than our DL.
3. Milroe is not a good QB against a good team.
4. Its good that I dont take football as seriously as I once did.
5. We are going to struggle against every good team we play....Ole Miss, A&M, LSU, Tennessee. I could honestly see us losing at least 3 with our QB play.
6. Unless we have an absolute multitude of miracles, we'll have our first class come through without a national title.
7. I'm on to another beer.
Well, for all of the great recruiting classes, we still don't have a QB that has developed, or an offensive plan they can follow. Just watching the Texas game plan tonight, their linemen didn't have to block very long. Their receivers were running sharp routes and the ball was usually out quickly negating our pass rush. Their plan moved the chains, and set up the big plays they were able to execute. I still don't know what kind of offense we are running. You're correct, something isn't right.3 of the 6 highest ranked recruiting classes in history are on campus right now, yet this is the result. Something isn’t right.
I would say so too. I’m not looking forward to the rest of the season. Honestly, I think we all knew things many not go well tonight.Texas physically handled us. Not the worst part, though. The Saban dynasty is likely over.
