There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. So relieved we got the win. When we fell behind early my mind went back a decade ago to the back to back losses to Ole Miss in 2014 and 2015. I was worried about a repeat but obviously it didn't happen.

Also, there's a video out there of Pavia getting into a heated argument with a Bama fan as he's leaving the field. I will not post a link because of language but do some searching and check it out if you can.

I cannot believe we did not see the shovel pass again. Were we doing something on D that took it away?
Yes - we were doing it the whole game just not always effectively. We had a defender with the responsibility of sliding with the back to the strong side of the field. We just didn't always execute properly. Once it was just blocked well, another the assignment was just missed.

Few things to note about this game:
Bama was better than Vandy on 3rd downs, 4th downs, and red zone. Bama went 5-5, Vandy 1-3.
Bama held the ball for 37:23 including 8 mins drive in 4th quarter. That's huge.

All weeks long Bama fans said we need to do the following to win the game against Vandy:
1. Control the run game. We didn't let Pavia run wild. I thought we did great job of adjusting in 2nd half.
2. Defense forced two turnovers.
3. Limit Penalties: 3 for 30 yards. not bad. Not bad.
4. Running game has to click for Offense: Jam Ran like a madman, 22 caries for 136 yards. that's the first time we had 100 yard rushing since last year.
5. No Drops.

I'm proud of this team for fighting and never gave up. Two games in a row they was able to fight through challenges and keep pushing through it.

My concerns as of now:

1. Slow start by offense. We've struggled to score in 1st quarter since Badger game. We gotta fix that.
2. Rush Defense- The adjustments we made at half time, we need to continue to do that. We need to be aggressive out of the gate and quit putting out 3 man on the field.

3. Coaching adjustments. they have to get better at it between series.
Pretty much nailed the 5 things except for dropped passes.

There’s so much going on in that video but I did have to laugh at Vandy players yelling about the Bama fan arguing with a ‘Kid’ when it’s Pavia!!

Lol

He looks like he’s in his 40s
