Bama Game Thread: Official Postgame Thread - Reliaquest Bowl, Bama vs. Michigan, Dec. 31, 11:00 AM, ESPN...

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting boarda>!

Well, quite frankly, you should care about Ty. He has proven to be a great teammate by honoring his commitment to Bama during a time when that is considered laughable by most of the players. He has earned his shot.

I mean yes, I think he deserves a shot to earn the job but I don't want all my eggs in one basket. Haven't seen enough from him to be fully confident we can simply roll with him. He needs to be pushed by either one of the other QBs on the team or we need to bring someone in to push him

DeBoer said “no I didn’t” when asked if he considered a change at quarterback with Jalen Milroe struggling early. “I saw a fighter. The fight in his eyes. As long as I see that, I want to hang in there with the guys this program means a lot to.”

So, this program doesn’t mean much to a guy that’s been toiling away, unheralded , grinding every day in practice without reward.

You can be a fighter and punch a brick wall until you break your hand.

Either he is getting the job done or he is not. I have not been this frustrated as an Alabama fan, EVER. At least during the DuBose and especially Shula eras, you knew the team was overmatched a good portion of the time. DuBose did have highly rated talent at times, but it was clear it had been overrated by recruiting services and then so much of it never even saw the field. What has happened this season is completely inexcusable.

Open QB competition in the spring............hopefully with another OC

I know some people think he was never good but, I cannot explain the fall off from the UGA game until now and it was a real fall off, I mean he was a consensus first round after that game, and some even had him as QB1 and now he looks like a UFL QB at best.
Take away the UGA game and what do you have? The same ol’ Milroe. The conclusion can only be that the UGA game was a fluke.
