Matheiu definitely got exposed, he may create turnovers but he couldn't cover an anthill if he laid on it..

Once again he was a non-factor...even in their special teams.

Jerrell Harris really showed up tonight...he handled the option superbly. I think he will make a lot of money playing pro (barring injury) as he has matured really, really well. When you think about all that he has gone through, you have to be proud that he hung in there and won a starting position in his last year.

I found Herbie's comment particularly insightful: "..but Bama stole their spirit...". Not only did we steal it, we kept it. That punt return, turnover, or ko return for a TD never happened for the tigahs. Those kinds of things would seem to juice them back up all year when they needed it and come roaring back. They got nothing like that last night. Kudos to the great D and ST for doing a spectacular job. I've got some tigah fans here at the office who are in for a long day.:biggrin2:

Following the game, ESPN showed Bama with the most (9) and ND with the second most (8). I believe the graphic indicated most AP and BCS titles since 1936.
