I have, and it is extraordinarily complex. I agree with you that this season needed simple concepts since Alabama lost both player and coaches with Saban’s retirement.

I was responding to a post that seemed to suggest that all defenses need to be simple now given the constant roster churn. That might be true, but I hope not. These simple defenses are too easy to scheme against and are not built to win championships.

Sorry, thought it was to me. Actually, I've been impressed with what our youngsters have been able to do, given their lack of background. I suspect it'll bleed into every thread for a while, but, AFAIK, there's just one DB who's a member of the LANK clique. If I were a freshman DB, or a talented transfer, I'd be examining my options carefully in the spring...

Saban said something interesting today at the end of a film breakdown. Paraphrasing, he said that it is better to put a complicated defense on the field that is ready for anything than a simple defense that can be more easily placed at disadvantages by different offenses.

We don't have Autrey's crew. Charlie Potter posted on another site who it was but I can't recall. I just know it isn't Autrey's crew. I hope they don't call any of our games this year but would not be surprised if they call the LSU or Auburn game.

Just looked... it is Jeff Heaser's crew. Not sure who that is but I may recognize them once the game is on.
