I am 21 years old. I wasn't "around" for Bama's glory years, and I don't remember the national championship in '92. I have heard stories from all my older cousins and aunts and uncles about how great it used to be for Bama fans. Winning championships and being respected nationally. Through most of my intelligent fandom I have cheered my heart out for a less-than-stellar Alabama football team. I am just glad I hung with it when so many of my friends that are my age jumped on the Auburn bandwagon. It truly feels amazing to be a Bama fan. Roll Tide everyone!:BigA:
Ditto, except I'm 23. But my story fits yours.

My uncle took me to my first Bama game in 1995... and that was where it began for me... I have watched it with my family since before I knew what I was actually watching.... greatness.

Congrats Bama fans. As a Gator, I am not discouraged by losing to an outstanding team with outstanding coaches that planned and executed much better than the Gators did today.

However, I expected a lot more respect from Tide fans for the run that Tim, Coach Meyer and the Gators have had. I do respect and understand that this is a rival site with the expected biases. The lame potshots aren't necessary.

Unlike others in the SEC, I thought UF and Bama might have a rivalry of mutual respect. Godd luck against Texas. Go SEC !

Have you forgotten 2008? We haven't...

Your sarcastic comments were not necessary either. :BigA:

It's a sport, it's a rivalry. You're on a Bama site.. I'm sure we would find similar things about Bama on a Gator site.
