I'll play the bad cop role. I don't think it's cool at all. If nothing is done by administrations to nip this in the bud, it could get out of control. Girls and scrawny guys need not apply; the mascot guy will be a lineman from the scout team. Then someone gets hurt. Lawsuits start flying.

Yes, I laughed when watching the video. But I agree with the Ohio administration; that should be the last time that guy sees the inside of Ralph.

I have to agree that the Duck's pelvis thrust in the face of the cougar is the all time pimp smack by a mascot.

But watching the Ohio mascot running out to take on the Ohio St mascot and the rest of the Ohio St team made me laugh at how daring he was. I could definately imagine him running on the field shouting LLLLLeeeeeeerrrrrrroooooooyyyyyy Jjjjjeeeeeennnnnkkkiiinnnsss!!! And that would have been epic.

I thought it was funny... but I can't help but think about the guy in that Buckeye suit. He probably couldn't see that it was even the other mascot wrestling with him! I would have been scared that I was being attacked by an angry fan or something.

I am waiting for the moral police to show up in this thread and talk about how awful this was.
Label me the moral police if you wish. I don’t think it is a fair label, but if my opinion falls into your definition so be it.

From what I saw the Ohio mascot did this on his own, just for a stunt to draw himself some attention. I think the Ohio response and apology was correct and well done.

I thought the Ohio State mascot handled it well.

Everyone has one’s own opinion and has a right to have it. I understand the fun in this and the enjoyment some get out of it. I understand the youthful college attempt at creating a legacy by some wild and over the top act.

Call me a stiff, but I just don't enjoy it, appreciate it, or even find it humorous.
