I thought the same thing. LSU vs. Okie State would not be 39-36; it'd be more like 39-6. One dimensional finese teams stand no chance against SEC heavyweights.

If i had to guess the score of a potential LSU-Okie State game, I'd say 42-17, with Okie State scoring an "oh, by the way" TD in trash time with 2:00 minutes to go in the game. Yawn.

I heard an interesting point about maybe Oklahoma St. should be mad at Texas for destroying the Big XII. If they had had a championship game they would have played against Kansas St and with a win there would have certainly jumped us I think.

Bottom line we are in and all the whining in the world wont change that.

I could be wrong about the reason the SEC was weaker this year but did not we ruin The Gators and The Vols seasons by knocking out their QB's and seems there were more too.

We knocked out Florida's #1 and #2 QBs. Justin Hunter tore his ACL in the 3rd game and Bray got hurt the next week. Florida and UT would've had better records had they not had to play LSU and Bama. UT also had to play Arkansas so that's another loss against a good team.

We didn't lose games for OSU, they did that to themselves. After LSU beat us I was pretty much in the too bad we should have won category. It is the same for Stanford and OSU...win the games and there is no debate. You can be as bad as you want and still get there as long as you win. LSU or Bama would still put those two teams under the bus when it was all done. IMO.

My wife couldn't understand why I was so upset when we lost to LSU. I tried to explain the importance of that game to her and how it would now take a few minor miracles for BAMA to get back in. Well, those miracles came about, and the BCS did it's job. The two best teams in the land are playing for the title. As you said, don't lose to Iowa State, and there is no debate. And yes, either BAMA or LSU would crush either of those teams. So I say ROLL TIDE! Go win it all. Krymsonman

I must admit that my sympathy gland is all shriveled and dried up for the OSU folks. We got lucky and made it to the big game due to lot of doughnut holes lining up, for which I'm very thankful ..... BUT, if we didn't make it, tough for us ..... We didn't take care of business on November 5th. So, my message to OSU is to shut up and stop whining. Strongly worded response to follow.

If Gundy's out there talking about playing LSU to a 39-36 score then he truly has no idea what he would be facing with LSU.

O State should take this as the blessing it is. If they beat Stanford they can gripe until the end of time about how they got hosed. And they will never have to actually to face the beast. Just like the barn got out of having to play USC in '04.

After all the NCAA BS we went through before Coach Saban became our HC..The same fanbases whining about us getting a rematch for the NC against LSWho..Are the same fanbases that were all to happy to kick us while were down from the NCAA sucker punch..They get no sympathy from me..I call it "Poetic Justice" & will enjoy it when we win #14..

For me, the whole Big 12 has the strongest conference this year is bull. Line up our ten best teams in order with theirs and IMO, we would be favorites in more games than them.

LSU over OSU
Bama over KSU
Ark and Baylor would be close but IMO, Ark would have a slight edge
USC over OU after Saturday night I can't give OU the edge
UGA over Mizz
AU over Texas but I'm a little iffy on this one
UF and A&M are too close to call with A&M getting the edge
Vandy and ISU too close to call
MSU over TTU
Kentucky over KU

Looks like the SEC would be the stronger conference, IMO.
