He probably wouldn't even have to, though. We could probably run it in on every offensive play.

TJ Simmons cost them that game single handedly with his stupid penalty. He made it even worse with his making a muscle gesture after the penalty. I'm certainly glad he took his"talents" elsewhere.

I'm not sure how you can realistically look at these offensive numbers unless you scale them at least 20% less than they actually are. These defenses are terrible.

I don't know, but he doesn't seem to be able to make the correlation between bad defense and big offensive numbers. If the sooners played a middle school team, he would be totally gobsmacked.

Trends are a thing. Texas has a loss to this WVU team at home, a loss to OSU and their offense has regressed a bit, which is bad news in what might be a scoring fest.

It seemed to me that the announcers were told not to criticize the defenses. Last week the announcers criticized the WVU/OSU defenses the entire game. This week they did not do so once. Not one time. Had to be purposeful.
