The Dude Perfect guys have a podcast called Almost Athlete. They interviewed Tom Brady about the play of NFL defenses. He talked about the decline of defensive play in the league. QBs don’t have to dissect and there’s a lack of fundamentals. Really good interview. The bad defensive play in CFB is trickling up. Add to this the rules being slanted towards offensive play.

Yet, we had historic defenses this year. Ohio State for one. I think overall, offensive production and scoring is down this year. But I don’t attribute it to good defense
