I can hear the AU staff right now:

"At Bama you'll be developed in practice. At AU you'll be developed on the field and ride the pine only when the defense is on the field. We lost our entire OL.....yadda yadda"

I hate that AU gets his LAST visit. There's no telling what madness those guys will feed him. I'm sure come Monday CNS will have his GPS set for Maryland.

They just received a verbal from Tre Mason today and should get one from D Sigler tommorow along with maybe B Fulse. Again decent players ut players they have been after since last spring. Sorry their run really has helped much.

These are guys that Bama wouldn't even accept commitments from outside of Fulse, and neither would the majority of top programs honestly. Very underwhelming this close to NSD, IMO. They have always recruited in the top 15 or 20. No real shocker that they are doing well after a national title.

according to espn rumors, in a scout.com article cyrus said of the visit to iowa, "I can't explain the feeling in words. It just felt good. It felt like home."

Haven't seen that article or heard that news, but I've always felt Iowa was our strongest competition.
I've always hoped having his brother at Bama would lock Cyrus in at Bama..I'm getting the sense it's working against us..Because he doesn't wanna be in his brothers spotlight..He wants to blaze his own trail..I can respect that..Just don't do it at auburn..

They can each blaze a trail at Bama together, on oppsite sides of o-line. :)

Also, I guess Cyrus missed the mass exodus of Iowa players to the University's ER...

i dont see that as a problem, he has said he'd like to go to school with his brother, but that it isn't important. its ineresting how everyone this board went from "complete bama lock" to "super panic lockdown Holy crap hes going to auburn!" mode.

lol pretty much! :) It's always funny but it's just another year in BAMA recruiting. Again, I do hope the young man decides to attend the University of Alabama.

Of the recruits left on the board, THIS is the one that might make me sick over if we lose him.

I've pictured him on the left side of the offensive line for three straight years...I cant start thinking he wont be there....

I need some positive vibes...

I'm not. I still believe his heart lies with playing with his brother again and we know where that is. I think Cyrus is enjoying the recruiting to it's utmost potential. That is all.

Yeah, really :)

I've never really bought that Cyrus was a lock because he's been so measured in his words, and he just seems like a guy who kind of marches to his own beat.

That said, though, it definitely would be a punch in the gut if he didn't come to Bama.
