This is my take on where we stand on our final targets. Please Rto, Ping, Surf, and anyone else chime in on what they think as well!!!!

A. Smith OL- 60% chance we get him. 40% he goes elsewhere

J. Ricks DL- 40% chance we get him 60% he is a Barner.

P. Whitehead DL- 40% chance we get him 60% he is a Barner

C. Stephens LB- 50/50 us and the Barn

T. Hawthorne WR- 33% Dawgs, Barn, Us.

Goggans- Tenn. lean

M. Udell- 50/50 chance

M. Mustain QB- 75/25 to Hogs.

G. McElroy QB- 50/50 us and TT.

Lockett- 60/40 us over Ole Miss.

Any others some of you guys want to comment on?

OK, I'll bite... I agree with several of your assements, the only ones I differ on:

Andre - 75% Bama, 20% USC, 5% anywhere else

Stevens - 55% Bama, 45% elsewhere

Hawthorne - flip a coin, ask a psychic, watch a groundhog's shadow, all these things have just as good of a chance of predicting his choice as anyone. Seriously, total crapshoot.

Goggans - see Hawthorne

Mustain - 90% Hogs, 10% Bama

Lockett - 60% Ole Miss, 40% Bama

Nah, not necessarily. These are pretty much all Plan A guys and we should land at a minimum, 2 of them, to take us to 20 commits. Who knows, we might even get 4 or 5 of them if things go well. And, if things go really poorly, you always have your Plan B guys. I think at least a couple of them are basically sure things if they get an offer. I am sure the class will be full.

Also, I think we have 2 or 3 2005 grayshirts counting against this class. I am not sure on that and all the technicalities of how that works, but, from what I can gather those count against our 25 scholarship limit for this year. I could be totally wrong on that, but, that's what I gather from some other boards. I am sure RTO or Ping would know the situation on that much better than I.

Here's the latest on Ricks

I think he is joining his older brother. We'll see.

Yeah I agree, I think we will bring in a full class, even if it takes a little longer than signing day. I think Wallace Gilberry was a plan e,f or g commit when we got him a couple years ago, and thank God we did.

What about Marcus Tillman the big DE out of MS that is to visit? I know he is committed to LSU but there have been some good indications he may be looking to switch. He is my #2 target on the DL behind Peanut. He even has the size to move inside and play DT.

Talbert 50/50 we best go ahead and give solid offer before it's too late
Byrd 33% ditto here
Stevens 33% getting less and less confident for obvious reasons
Mustain 0% No visit made= no real interest
Udell 5% IMO not enough interest on his part
AJ Jones 10% I feel he's going to UF unless they are full at OLB. Love to get him like we got DJ Hall when F$U got full at WR.

It looks like it's A Smith,Goggins,Talbert,and Byrd if we offer and push very hard for the last 2 guys. Outside chance at Tillman,Stevens,Whitehead,and Hawthorne :mad2: . I hope J Johns really works on Tillman on his visit b/c IMO Whitehead is leaning Barn after Randolphs leaving :frown: .I have been very high on Stevens all year,but don't feel very confident please someone tell me an update to change my mind!
