Now all they need is a TV deal with Jefferson Pilot.
I mean, have you seen how bad BMW is lately? The new PAC-?? is like someone promising a Lexus or BMW but shows up with a Ford Taurus and claims it is just as good.
That’s gona be about the right level of football in the Pac12Can it be women’s flag football?
They have to add at least one football school or they will lose their status as a conference. Unless the ncaa changes their own rules which would not surprise anyone
That was my thought when I saw this on the four letter network.texas state should be joining any day now. the whole conference is laughable

News outlets out of Texas are reporting that it's virtually a done deal, but the fact that Texas State actually took multiple days to consider the offer instead of immediately accepting speaks to just how little the vast majority of the college football world thinks of the PAC-whatever.
Yeah, I saw where the big 12 commish said to go to a 5+11 format because "it is what the people want". Who are these people that want this crap?
There should be a requirement that the conference champion autobid only applies if you are ranked in the top ten.
While I agree with the idea of a minimum ranking, perhaps it should be simply 'ranked', period. With the playoff field expanding to 16 teams, if a team from the non-P4 was ranked in the Top 10, they'd be in anyway. Requiring a Top 25 ranking might at least keep a 4-5 loss team that happens to win a conference title game over the one decent team in that otherwise-weak conference from backing into the playoff.
That’s funn…wait , didn’t Kathy Ireland kick FGs for Texas State 🤣It's like asking an ugly person out on a date and they took a few days to think about it.
